The Writings Of Livingstone Fagan "IN THE LIGHT" Transcription by Mark Swett --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The light is to shine in you and not merely on you. We are thus brought into its clearness, dispelling our inner darkness. Its shinning on us draws us to its consciousness, while its shinning in us becomes our consciousness. Being drawn to the light, we enter into it. In our entering it, we become one with it. Our expressing it is our assurance we are one with it --- being as it is (Shinning lights). Fear of entering it results from our misconception of it, in relation to the darkness we are of. Faith overcomes this. This is the victory. We have been deceived into perceiving darkness as light, and light as darkness. A simple consequence of our no longer being of the light, and therewith, our not perceiving of its consciousness. The battle freeing us of this misconception is a contest of faith over fear. Each victory over fear is a step in that direction, expanding our vision, and therewith, our being. We should remember that being of light is our first and natural estate. This memory is our source of guidance on our journey back to the light. That silent voice soothing our journey and calling to us from our inner being. It is sometimes referred to as conscience. Disregarding it, we become engulfed by the darkness loosing our way. The end result is our spiritual death. The written word of scriptures (that voice in another form) like it, bears witness to the light. The living word (inspiration) manifested supremely in the person of Christ, is that perfect from expressing the light. Our failure to respond leaves us without a medium between us and the light. What remains is a direct encounter with the light, resulting in the total consumption of our being. We cease to be entities one with, yet independent of, the light. Being absorbed back into the light, we are no more! The tragic loss of the Soul, having not come to birth.
